FIELD and Nike with running-interactive force of nature

Force of Nature is one of the latest projects that Nike takes advantages of technology to bring exciting user experience for its customers. Nike has teamed up with FIELD – a creative studio based in London to make running becoming interactive.

They put custom sensors into a treadmill and use Kinect interaction to enable applications to incorporate gesture-based activities. When using this installation, runners are able to take a journey with impressive visual and audio effect after every moves through a screen in front of them.

User can feel that they are getting into a flow of running with full of artistic motion. And if they are interested in outgoing activities more than indoor, they can think different. Because treadmill workout seem so interesting now. You would be so creative just by running when colors and pattern can change based on your own movement and speed.
